The zodiac comprises of several constellations, and the sun (or other celestial body) is considered to be “in” a constellation when it enters the region of the zodiac that contains that constellation.
Ancient civilizations, like the ancient Greeks and Romans, thought that the location of celestial bodies could be utilized to foresee the future. They believed that astronomy and astrology were the same, which is no longer the case! In astrology, a zodiac sign refers to one of the 12 constellations of the zodiac that the sun traverses. A person’s zodiac sign corresponds to the sun’s position at birth.
In astrology, it is believed that a person’s personality may be predicted using their zodiac sign. In accordance with astrology, it is also possible to foretell the future by comparing the positions of the sun, moon, and planets to the constellations of the zodiac. A horoscope is an astrological map of the planets and zodiac signs; the term also refers to a forecast of the future based on such a map.

There are several ways to comprehend astrological signs: You might see them as a wheel that begins with Aries, the newborn of the zodiac, yelling to be heard, and finishes with Pisces, who is wise and knowledgeable (Virgo, the adolescent, falls in the center). Or you may learn about their characteristics by linking them with individuals you know or famous people.
